Project Title: Subkontrak yang dicalonkan – Kerja Mekanikal Dan Elektrikal Untuk Pintu Kuala Jambu Bagi Projek Pembangunan Lembangan Sungai Bersepadu Sg. Golok (Kesban) – FASA 1

An unusually large flood occurred on 21 December 2009, causing an evacuation of parts of Kelantan. The Golok River floods seasonally with the monsoon. The villagers along the Golok river have been facing flood problems. Thus this project is a matter of great concern. This project was handled by JPS Kelantan. The objectives of this project were to improve and upgrade the drainage system and to mitigate flooding in the area. This project cost over RM850,000.00.

This project (Phase 1) took 2 years for completion of mechanical and electrical works. The products used in this project were SS304 Slide Gate, HDPE Flap Gate, Stoplog, Hoisting System, Electrical System and accessories. OKC fabricated and installed a new gate control system to control the tidal and flood effects.
