Project Desciption

JPS Kedah initiated this project to upgrade the existing water control system on a budget. The project was in Bakong, Kedah. The project cost RM183,000. This project took 20 weeks for completion. 

To complete this project, OKC has designed, invented and fabricated an innovative pump gate. OKC is the first pump gate fabricator in Malaysia. With this, OKC has registered a patent for the new design pump gate. This innovative pump gate has the advantage of cost-saving as it utilized the existing gate and structure. Besides, it’s also space-saving because the less land required. The products used in this project were pump gate, electrical system, hoisting system and accessories. 

Upon completion, the water efficiency for discharge from upstream to downstream was improved.
